ABOUT

I am a Pacific Northwest writer, educator, deckhand and mother. I grew up on an island in Alaska and live in the woods a few hours from Seattle. Sometimes I live and work on boats. Sometimes I travel with my husband and sons. Sometimes I stay up all night reading and regret it in the morning. Often I am a huge procrastinator. No matter what I am doing, I am writing about it. Call it a passion, call it a compulsion, either way I've got a lot of words in my head and I enjoy siphoning them off onto paper (or screen).
